Complete Covides' wines success in the Japan Wine challenge 2019

On August 6th, the 22nd edition of the “Japan Wine challenge 2019” took place in the Hotel Conrad Tokyo together with the 13th International Sake Challenge and the 3rd Fuji Cider Challenge.

In total almost 1,400 wines, sakes and ciders from all over the world participated in the contest.

30 prestigious profesionals from the wine world of Japan were in charge of selecting the winning wines among which 6 of our wines were awarded: 



The pink Cabernet awarded at the MONDIAL DU ROSÉ

Last April Covides traveled to Cannes to attend the 16th EDITION of LE MONDIAL DU ROSÉ. Le Mondial Du Rosé, organized every year by the Union of Winemakers of France, is an international competition that awards the best rosé wines from all the wine regions of the world. Its jury is in charge of tasting and anonymously commenting on each of the wines.

The contest awarded Covides for its DO Penedès Cabernet Sauvignon from the Duc de Foix line with the silver medal, an award that pays homage to this color and its quality.


Covides collaborates in the 4th EDITION of the SOLIDARITY WINE TASTING

Last Friday, August 2, Covides collaborated with its distributor from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Emilio Sánchez Distributions, in the 4th Edition of the Solidarity Wine Tasting organized by the Wine Bar San Juan.

The event took place from 7:00 p.m. to midnight at Finca Los Deseos, in Telde (Las Palmas), with the tasting of Brut cava and white wine from the Terra Terrae vegan and organic certification line. We also had tastings of other wines and appetizers as well as listened to live music.

This past weekend we attended the 14th "PEACH MARKET OF ORDAL”, in Sant Pau d'Ordal, which inaugurated last June and goes until this month of August.

It is a market that combines tradition and native products, and offers visitors to participate in various tastings and activities related to its product, the peach and the wine world.

Among the events, we went to the winery that organized the famous peach and cava pairing. The cava chosen was from our organic and vegan line Terra Terrae.

We have concluded the Dinner Series "Peix a la Cuina Mediterrània" organized at the Norai Restaurant of the Maritime Museum of Barcelona ​​and we are proud to announce its great success.

The series consisted of six dinners, each one dedicated to the gastronomy of a Mediterranean region, with the tasting of original recipes made with seasonal and local products. Visit and training of IMPULSEM students at Covides

The last Tuesday, July 9, we had the pleasure of having a very special visit from the students from the Hotel Management of the IMPULSEM Cooperative of Ciutat Vella, Barcelona.
